This place suits me perfectly! Good wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and great air conditioning. I'll never forget how the staff helped me find my lost ID card during my first stay. Highly recommend trying the delicious breakfast. I'm coming back for Xmas!

The location near Independence Plaza is ideal for exploring the area, with plenty of food and shopping options nearby. Breakfast is a highlight, with tasty offerings that are worth the price. However, the lack of air conditioning could be an issue in warmer months, although large fans and open windows help with airflow. Rooms can feel cramped despite their cleanliness.

Great place for couples on a budget
I found myself really enjoying the location close to the Zocalo, everything was a short walk away, including some very nice tacos on a nearby street. The staff were friendly too, helped me get a taxi at a moment's notice, making sure I didn’t miss my plans.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable for the area.

We enjoyed our stay with convenient access to nearby museums and cafes. The staff were friendly and our room was very clean, making it a comfortable place for us and our small child. It truly felt like a good value for our family getaway.
My kids wished there was more space for families in the rooms.

The breakfast was delicious, with an excellent chef whipping up tasty options every morning, and I loved the cozy decor throughout the hotel. There’s a nice little lounge area to unwind after a busy day. A great rooftop spot for some fresh air. However, the waitstaff could improve their service as they often forgot our orders, but overall, it was a wonderful stay! 😊

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, with attentive service that included bringing me a hair dryer and offering free water bottles every day. An unbeatable location just a five-minute walk from Allende to explore the city.
All was wonderful.

missingWrote a review on Apr 20central locationgreat breakfaststreet noise
The hotel’s location puts you smack in the middle of the city’s hustle, with easy access to museums and restaurants. Breakfast on the top floor offers not just food but a stunning view over Calle Bolívar—definitely a highlight of the stay.
One downside is the noise from the street, which can get loud at night. city sounds are a constant companion. Water pressure wasn’t reliable, with some days seeing only a cold trickle. Plus, the rooms can feel cramped, particularly for taller guests, and the lack of sound insulation means late-night chatter filters in from the hallway.

I liked staying in this place because it was close to many museums and restaurants, which made it easy to explore. The staff made me feel welcome and were friendly during my visit. The room felt clean and offered comfort after a long day of walking. I appreciated the value I got for the price I paid. My partner and I enjoyed strolling around and discovering the local eateries that really showcased the culture here.

The rooftop breakfast at Principal is a must! I devoured a big salad that felt like a vibrant Mexico City fiesta in a bowl. Plus, the staff's friendliness was top-notch, making sure we were comfy. The location can’t be beat—smack dab in the heart of El Centro, with plenty of epic eateries like Azul Historico and Sanborns de los Azulejos nearby!
The rooms could use a refresh. they felt a tad vintage for my taste.
